Welcome Aboard the Las Vegas Monorail! This system has a total of seven stations located near the many hotels and entertainment options along the Las Vegas Strip. The monorail starts the northbound route from the MGM Grand and goes all the way up to Sahara before turning around to repeat the stops for the southbound route. The Las Vegas Monorail also has a special connection to the Walt Disney World Monorail in Florida. This is because the Las Vegas Monorail operated with two Mark IV monorail trains from the Walt Disney World Monorail when it opened in 1993 with the MGM Grand and Paris Las Vegas stations.
