I feel like this isn't as much of a "tutorial" as it is just showing how "I" like to make minecraft machinimas. If you have questions not covered in the video, feel free to ask in the comments. You can watch my other tutorial using "Free Software" here: • Minecraft Machinima Tutorial - FREE SOFTWA... 18:35 - My screen recorder didn't catch the technic menu. I'm basically just changing the default load resolution to 1280X720. Special thanks to "That Minecraft Guy" who steered me to "Open Broadcaster Software" for my screen recorder to make this tutorial! You should check out his channel!: / Канал OBS: https://obsproject.com/ Random Notes: I don't "MAKE" minecraft movies, I "BUILD" minecraft movies. I film at 60fps. I film with resolution of "1280X720". When I say "hit" things and it might crash, I meant it might crash if you "punch" while the camera is rolling. Attempting to push buttons or pull levers will not crash it. Texture packs/shaders make the movies more interesting I prefer text boxes over voice overs; text boxes allow your audience to decide in their minds what the voices should sound like. I keep my movies clean (using profanity, vulgarity, etc limits your audience reach.) My favorite choice of music is always more orchestral. When shooting a scene, I purposely try to put things in the background that are interesting to look at (like a beautiful sunrise). I don't copy other artists, I like my films to be original. My style of filming can be done by just yourself alone. As such, you are limited to your interaction with the minecraft world when the camera is activated (can't open doors, hit buttons, or hit things with swords). So I get around it by using F5 when filming a hit or button being pressed, or using other effects that make it look like I did one of those acts. Also, bow and arrow does work.
