Thieves crash flatbed truck into Seattle pot shop to steal ATM

The owners of a south Seattle cannabis dispensary are once again working on major repairs after thieves used a flatbed pick-up truck to smash their way into the business and stole an ATM early Wednesday morning. The Seattle Police Department said officers responded to a report of a burglary at Seattle Cannabis Co. in the city's Rainier Valley neighborhood, around 3 a.m. An officer at the scene told KOMO News the damage to the building was so bad they were worried about the building possibly collapsing. Seattle Fire Department crews responded to the scene and put a tarp up over one side of the building. A SPD spokesperson said officers located a suspect vehicle, but the vehicle eluded officers and they couldn’t pursue it.
