I pulled the backlights from a failing wacom monitor, the screen normally would turn on for a second then turn off. What is happening is the backlight has burned out and needs replacing. Also ill note the "potting" material used to fix the inverter board was ordinary, but very pure, caulking silicone, its a very effective high voltage insulator. Also for inverter repair, the capacitors are 3kv 15J, though ive been told 6kv might be more suitable.
