I'm Learning How to Nordic Ski - Trillium Lake Tour, Mount Hood

I've decided to take up the sport of Nordic skiing and I want to really get into the "back country" style of skiing. The reason I am doing this is so I can introduce some cross-training into my endeavors of Spartan Ultras and Trail Running Ultras. From my research, Nordic skiing is a great aerobic exercise without all the impact of running, but it is somewhat similar to the running motion.I go up to the Trillium Lake Sno-Park on Mount Hood after some wet snowfall and head out to Sherar-Burn road to check it out for a future adventure. I then head down to Trillium Lake to cook up some Cup O Noodles. All in all, an awesome day to escape the Matrix. Thanks for watching.
