This training with Dan Jacobs, PhD, focused on the introduction of Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) as an evidenced based intervention to be used to treat post-traumatic stress disorder. This presentation provided attendees with an introductory overview of the intervention that included a brief review of the literature and discussion of basic concepts related to CPT. In addition, it included discussion of client inclusion criteria to consider before offering this type of intervention. This event is part of William James College's Department of Military and Veterans Psychology virtual discussion series on a variety of important topics in military and veteran psychology.
