We’ll Live and Die in These Towns is a gritty and compelling new musical drama driven by the adrenaline-rush energy and working class poetry of songs from The Enemy’s number one debut album. Written by the critically acclaimed Geoff Thompson with former Enemy frontman Tom Clarke as musical director, the show makes its world premiere at the Belgrade Theatre at the heart of the band's Coventry hometown 20 September-29 October. The show follows a young rock musician named Argy, who suffers a crisis of confidence just hours before a huge homecoming concert that could make or break his career. Heading off into the city, he revisits his past to help him come to a decision about his future. Argy’s worked his whole life for this break. But now it’s here, can he face down his fears and seize the moment? At a launch event at The Empire in Coventry, Geoff Thompson, Tom Clarke and director Hamish Glen came together to tell us more about what to expect from the production.
