In the next musical postcard, together with my daughter Nela we are sending you the Czech folk song Ach synku, synku. This time we filmed in Čistá u Horek, so in the distance you can see the Krkonoše Mountains, specifically Černá hora (Black hill). The song Oh synku, synku is recorded in its oldest form in 1860 by František Sušil on Wallachia in the form of “Oh, Janku, Janíček, where are you? Dad asked if you were plowing? ”But probably it was based on a record from the Provincial Collections as early as 1819. Almost 80 years later it was a song recorded by Leoš Janáček in the same region, but in the form of “When I plowed behind the forest, daddy… “, but her records are also in Horňácko, Berounsko, Dačice, Tovačov, Bezměrov, Broumov or Kostica. In Moravia, however, Janka mostly sang instead of "son". In connection with this song there is also a report that it is identical to the Polish folk song "Zielony mosteczek".
