At Hesston Steam Museum in La Porte Indiana, right on the Michigan-Indiana state line, you'll get the Whole Nine Yards when it comes to trains, or steam machinery in general. Even the popcorn machines are steam powered. We arrived at the museum when the trains were beginning to run. Even only after one other visit, the routine was familiar to us. At first we did some filming, and then decided to take a ride on the medium sized railroad. When we got off, a steam crane was attempting to lift a piece of equipment. The chain was just about as old as the crane, and it snapped, which I caught on film. While we were in line for another train, a diesel pulled out of the locomotive shed with an engine they have been restoring. Considering it was completely destroyed in a fire, it looks awesome. We took a second ride on the medium railroad, this time in the caboose. Unfortunately, some unruly children got in with us. I only selected a few parts of that ride. We took our final ride on the large railroad, which runs right along the state line. After one shot at the exit crossing, we decided it was time to head home. Hope you all enjoy this video. -Casey
