We live in a digital world and today’s jobs across industries incorporate a wide range of new technologies. From aerospace to healthcare and agriculture to retail, 3D Printing, robotics, laser machining are transforming the way we work. MakerspaceCT’s Digital Badge program is part of a national effort recognized by the Fab Lab Network, based at MIT. We train adults in the specific skills they need to qualify for well-paying, engaging, meaningful careers. Digital Badge micro-certifications are also short in duration, and economical. The format is project-based so that you demonstrate your skill achievement HANDS-ON, not just in tests. In 2020-2021, over 30 students participated in a 13-week evening course in many of the skills necessary to work in additive manufacturing production environments.
