This is a must see. We dedicated this entire episode to the incredible Chicago stalwart, Bang Bang Pie & Biscuits. Seriously, this was hands down the best biscuit of our lives. Being from the south, that's saying something. And of course, the pies are phenomenal, as to be expected. Owner Michael Ciapciak was kind and gracious enough to spend some time with us. He gives us some insight into a few his favorite bakeries in the city, how he gets the biscuits to be so tall, and even gives us a behind the scenes tour of their bakery, where they are prepping over 5000 pies for Thanksgiving. We are so grateful that he took the time out of his busy day to impart some baking wisdom and give us a peek behind the curtain of this fine establishment. Great hangs with a great dude.
