Finished, and thus 2025 finally ended with my last mini-movie which I am honored to have made a coverage on a setting that is largely overlooked while being interesting in my opinion! Thank you all and enjoy! October 1, 1902 - “Away down south on the Philippines, inhabits a fierce Islamic tribespeople on the island of Mindanao. In contrast to the natives of North America, they excel at hand to hand combat and, most of all, resisting the Spaniards from conquering most of the island for three centuries. They are the Moro people in the place called Moroland. Meanwhile, just after the Spanish left the entire country, the Moros too would resist their new foreign masters, particularly those around Lake Lanao and notably somewhere on the southeast of the lake, where we find the American Datu, Captain John J. Pershing (who settled the friendly Moros to his side), punishing the hostile Moros.”
