Last year, we released a surf film called “Island Spell: Sapphire Express” featuring two master longboarders, an underground twin-fin specialist and an expert shaper/surfer who traveled across the Eastern coastline of Sri Lanka to share an experience of surfing, culture and values. Call this follow-up the B-sides—call it what you will—but we had a whole lot more from that special journey to release. Introducing: The Sapphire Sessions, a mediation on exploration.
