Lena Situations Explores New York Fashion at Vogue World | VLOGUE | Vogue France

In the latest episode of V(L)ogue, the series that deciphers fashion from every angle, Lena sets out to conquer America and explore its urban territories. To fully understand the fashion of New York and how it is influenced by urban culture, Lena chose to stroll around the Big Apple during Fashion Week, and to meet with the emblematic characters who influence the fashion culture of this city. She begins with the iconic model Karlie Kloss, who has walked the runways of New York Fashion Week thousands of times and who invited us into her favorite cupcake shop to tell us about her vision of American fashion. This was the perfect way to prepare before attending Vogue World, a huge fashion show organized for the 130th anniversary of the magazine, which took place outside, in the middle of the city. This monumental show told the full story of the city's streets and culture. It was opened by Serena Williams, followed by dancers, marathon runners, dog walkers, BMX performers, supermodels and models accompanied by their children. To finish her grand tour of the city, Lena met with Johnny Cirillo, aka WatchingNewYork, the city's iconic street photographer, before meeting up with June Ambrose, stylist and real New Yorker, to explore the Garment District, a favorite neighborhood among fashion designers.
