In 1984, he opened Ontario’s first modern post-Prohibition craft brewery, helping spark the movement that would eventually reshape Canadian beer.   Jim shares the story behind Brick Brewing’s early days, from traveling the world researching breweries to convincing skeptical bankers that a small independent brewery could survive in a market ruled by giants.
