Worship for Sunday, March 7th 2021 from the Mechanicsburg Church of the Brethren

Join us for worship! This week, we consider the promise of God made to the Hebrews led by Moses at Sinai; a promise that places expectations upon them that we still struggle to fulfill. Yet those commandments have a deeper purpose; a purpose finally fulfilled in the person of Jesus Christ. Our texts include Psalm 19, Exodus 20:1-17 and John 2:13-22. The service music includes piano selections ("Fairest Lord Jesus" and "Savior, More than Life to Me") by Deb Wakefield. Hymns accompanied by Lois Keeney include "God of the Earth, the Sky, the Sea" and "This is My Father's World", as well as a duet of "Come, Thou Fount of Ev'ry Blessing" presented by Larry Landis and Del Keeney. Through word, image and song, it is our prayer that you may be encouraged by worshiping with us on this third Sunday of Lent.
