Love bombing is a manipulative and emotionally abusive tactic where an individual showers another person with excessive affection, attention, and grand gestures early in a relationship to gain power and control. "Subtil" is an older, less common spelling of "subtle," meaning fine, delicate, or hard to perceive, but also cunning, sly, or crafty.
