Once a bustling hub during the early 20th-century gold and silver rushes, Stewart served as a gateway to the mineral-rich mountains of the region. Just north of town, across the border near Hyder, Alaska, lies the incredible Salmon Glacier— the 5th largest glacier in North America. Often times when going on our adventures, we get caught up in the 'stop and go' of everyday travel and forget to slow down and really soak in some of these incredible places... usually months later, when reminiscing over some old footage i'll stop and wonder why we didn't spend more time in these places. Stewart/Hyder is definitely one of those places.
