My Romanian travels were coming to an end. After leaving Timisoara, I had one more new city to visit before returning to Sibiu, Brasov and Bucharest on my way towards Bulgaria. That city was Deva. I knew nothing about the city of Deva and my research showed that it was not really a place that attracted tourists.
