Imperialism II: Age of Exploration is a turn-based strategy computer game developed by Frog City Software and published by Strategic Simulations, Inc. (SSI) in 1999. It is the successor to the 1997 game Imperialism. In Imperialism II, the player starts as ruler of a XVI century European power in it's quest to dominate the Old World. This is all about exploring, building an empire on the New World, carrying home the new amazing resources and riches and use them to conquer the Old World. In many aspects, it is a step back from Imperialism, but this game too is a masterpiece. Visually it didn't aged a bit, just like a good old wine, it seems it's gotten only better. It's a timeless masterpiece.
