QF-002 Baby 2CH Airplane with LED Lights - Part 2: Maiden Flight

I used to consider 2-channel RC airplanes toys for kids, not tools for RC hobbyists to practice their skills and have fun with in the local park. However, after recently experiencing the stability and high fun and coolness factors of my first small, outdoor, 2-channel airplane (Flybear FX-820 SU-35), my opinion changed considerably:    • Flybear FX-820 SU-35 EPP 2-Channel RTF Air...      • Flybear FX-820 SU-35 EPP 2-Channel RTF - P...   In the past, I had only owned and flown 2-channel airplanes that had been very slow and small models, much more appropriate for indoor flying. Their directional changes were sluggish and delayed, and these models usually did not do well outdoors even in light wind. What I experienced with the Flybear FX-820 SU-35 came as a total surprise to me. Thanks to its gyro stabilizing it, it did great in the wind. Also it was unusually fast despite its two tiny motors; I think its speed was partially due to its streamlined “fighter jet” design. I had great fun with it and started to consider it a cheap, simple, but legit entry to RC airplanes, especially for people on limited budget and unsure of their initial interest level in this hobby. Which brings us to the subject of this video, the QF-002 Baby 2-channel airplane. I purchased this airplane on eBay for a total of $27.50 shipped to our door. (After using my $25 coupon from eBay, I ended up spending only $2.50!) Besides being very inexpensive, what is special about this little airplane is that it comes with LED lights, which makes night flying possible. As the days are getting shorter, I wanted to have an airplane that I can fly in the local park after work and before dinner. This is my first “night flyer” RC airplane!
