The Semiahmoo Trail in South Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, is a historic 5.3 km trail, originally a First Nations footpath and later a wagon road built in 1873–74. The segment from 144 Street and King George Boulevard to 152 Street and 20 Avenue covers a portion of this trail, approximately 2–3 km, running through a mix of forested areas, residential neighbourhoods, and small green spaces. This section is largely unpaved, offering a peaceful, easy walk with minimal elevation change, ideal for spotting wildlife like barred owls, eagles, and Pacific tree frogs. Key features include a heritage Douglas-fir tree near 22 Avenue and a pedestrian overpass at 148 Street to maintain trail continuity. Access points include 151A Street at 20 Avenue or 148 Street at 28 Avenue . The trail is part of Surrey’s heritage, protected by a 2004 bylaw, and connects to Sunnyside Acres Urban Forest and the Nicomekl River.
