From this concept, more than 100 songs were created, marking a pivotal starting point that shaped Kabutomushi’s current musical direction. Produced between 2019 and 2020, it remains one of their most significant early works, with the complete archive available on YouTube. In 2023, digest versions Side A: Emerald and Side B: Cosmo Aura were released, sparking attention across various scenes. This new release, Side C: Topaz, features previously unreleased tracks alongside Kabutomushi’s signature song “Flower" and new material from their recent project “Don’t Forget Michiko 25”. Exploring the ideas of “vibes” (tremor) and “irony” (love) in music, Kabutomushi has consistently created genre-defying, unique works. This release stands out as the band’s boldest and most eccentric statement yet—charged with vulgarity and irony at its core. The artwork was created by band member Satoshi Hori.
