In this community parenting panel, panelists attempt to bridge the generational gap between teen and parent and help navigate difficult discussions, answer complex questions, and bring clarity to both groups about effective ways to communicate and encourage harmonious and mutually beneficial relationships. Our panelists were local community members Sidi Haroon Sellars, Sidi Azmat Zeeshan Mukhtar, Sister Hina Khan-Mukhtar, and Ustadh Hosai Mojaddidi (emcee). Together, they each bring 10+ years of experience as both parents and educators who work closely with children and teens of all backgrounds.
