🔧 MG TF 115 (Cool Blue) Oil Change – (K-Series Engine) In this video, I’m giving my MG TF 115 (Cool Blue) a much-needed oil change, one of the simplest but most important jobs to keep the Rover K-Series engine running smoothly and to get rid of that annoying tappet noise. I’ll take you through the full process, from draining the old oil to replacing the filter and refilling with the correct grade and adding oil additive. If you’re new to MG TF ownership or just want a clear, no-nonsense walkthrough, this guide will help you get it done confidently. This is part of my ongoing effort to keep this MG TF 115 healthy, reliable, and on the road where it belongs. You will also see me make the same mistake again that I made last year, whoops! 🧰 Tools & Parts Used 10W40 semi-synthetic Castrol engine oil (approx. 4.5L — check your engine spec) Bosch Oil filter (MG Rover K-Series compatible) Liqui Moly Engine Flush New copper sump washer or a new sump plug Oil filter wrench (very handy) 15mm socket/ratchet (or correct sump bolt size) 2.5 Tonne Jack and axle stands Funnel, rags, oil drain pan Mannol Engine Oil additive (300ml) 💬 Join the Rolling Retros Community Got an MG TF or another modern classic?
