You can walk across the historic city centre of Delft in just 25 minutes flat. And to add to all this, Delft is home to one of the largest universities in the country. It's a real student town and because of that Delft is full of life. The best way to see Delft is to allow yourself to get lost a little bit. You still see all the sights, and you'll never be truly lost. It's too small for that. However, it will force you to go a lot slower than you might have anticipated, and you'll see more because of it. If only because you're not staring at a map​. Delft is the type of town you'll instantly love and have this, "I could live here" feeling. Then add the fact that Delft is SO easy to reach and to explore, there is no excuse not to visit.
