Otter - FDCT

Went out to test my new camera and housing (having never used it including the video function) and 45 seconds into the water I noticed an otter passing right below me (while trying to figure inspect the housing for leaks). Knowing how 'people shy' they are I gave up looking for it quite early and kept inspecting the new camera...when all of a sudden something was pressing on my shoulder, I looked to my left and there, right on my shoulder pushing down with two little hands was the otter, 'sitting' on my shoulder to try and get a peek of what I was up to! I was stunned!! I was hesitant to move but the otter pushed off and continued to play with my fins, new housing and even latched onto my arm a few times with its tiny hands every time I was paying too much attention to the camera! This is undoubtedly a VERY rare interaction and I'm very grateful for it:) As mentioned I'm still completely unfamiliar with the video function so the video isn't pristine but its surely good enough:) Jacques © Music: Bonobo - El Toro All video shot and edited by Jacques de Vos
