Warren T. Rat sets a trap for Scat Cat and Berlioz by having his dogs drive a herd of elephants into a stampede that will trample him. Scat Cat saves Berlioz, but is betrayed by Warren, who sends him falling to his death. Warren T. Rat blames the tragedy on Berlioz and advises him to flee the kingdom and sends his dogs to kill him to make sure he's dead, but the young kitten manages to escape.
