Day 9 of our Marella Discovery American Cruise 2023 - Dominican Republic

Today we have arrived in Amber Cove on the Dominican Republic. After taking some obligatory pictures by the sign, we then had a look around the numerous shops whilst waiting for our excursion. We have booked the Coconut Beach excursion for today. Once the bus was ready we all boarded ready for a nice relaxing beach day. The journey to the beach was interesting! Down bumpy dirt roads through the jungle! We were definitely glad to get off. The resort was nice and quite lively with a bar and restaurant and zip lines! We decided it was time was a swim in the sea and time to chill. Was lovely relaxing in the trees watching the zip liners! Then it was time to go back to the ship ready for dinner. Tonight’s show on board was the Soul Awards. Another great show and finished off yet another amazing day! Next stop… Key West!
