Remise en route du moteur, et immédiatement, j'entends un bruit suspect. Je le mets en eau pour le faire tourner plus de 30 secondes.... et pas de doute, un bruit de coussinets de bielle se fait entendre. Je doit donc le redéposer et voir ce qui ne vas pas. J'avais conservé le vilebrequin et les coussinets car c'était en bon état visuel, et le moteur fonctionnait bien. Je vais remplacer le vilebrequin par un rectifié avec coussinets en conséquences. Ca m'apprendra a vouloir conserver de vielles pièces. Entre-temps, je commence le remontage de la planche de bord qui a été vermiculée. Start the engine again, and immediately I hear a suspicious noise. I put it in water to let it run for more than 30 seconds.... and no doubt, a noise from the connecting rod bearings is heard. So I have to put it back down and see what's wrong. I had kept the crankshaft and bearings because it was in good visual condition, and the engine ran well. I am going to replace the crankshaft with a ground one with corresponding bearings. This will teach me to want to keep old pieces. In the meantime, I am starting to reassemble the dashboard which has been wormed.
