Overwhelmed by the atmospheric scenery in the mountains, our singer Wishbone spontaneously played an acoustic version of Ruinen, when we had some beers and were viewing the misty mountainside at dusk. The rain capped some higher frequencies and reflections, so we edited the audio with EQ and reverb (with early and late reflections). The voice was too loud for the camera sometimes, hence the limiter 'pumped' away the guitar. We balanced this out by applying slight multiband compression. For us, this sounds more natural and fits better to the video and our mood we had at that special place.
