Learning process to prevent children of migrant workers from human trafficking

The development of the learning process to prevent children of migrant workers from human trafficking is a research of Naparat Kranratanasuit, Doctor of Judical Science (S.J.D.), a lecturer at the Institute of Human Rights and Peace Studies, Mahidol University. With her full of believe that all human beings are equal, she and her research team initiated this project. She launched her research project after the site visit at Migrant children’s Development Center in Samut Sakhon Province, Thailand. Her key objective was to raise awareness of migrant children because teachers raised their concern about a high number of dropping out from school of migrant children. So, she and her research team designed and created various teaching tools, namely handbook which contains five lessons and several activities to teach students about human trafficking. The second tool is children book. The third tool is occupation cards that aim to inspire children to continue their study to reach their life goal. And the last one is DVD songs that simplify the complicated lessons of human trafficking for better understanding and relax children through music.
