Sphex (ghost)

Sphex was known as "The Black Wasp" to his kind. To our kind he's known as the Digger Wasp. One day he emerged from his underground lair soaking wet and hungry. He needed to hunt and claim more ground that he had recently discovered. He was unable to fly so he slowly climbed the giant Black wall that stood directly outside of his lair. It took him 5 days to reach the top. The moment he reached the top he freefalled twice the distance that he had just climbed and hit the ground hard. It took him 5 hours to regain consciousness. As his sight was coming back to him he noticed that certain parts of his body weren't moving properly and were restricted so he panicked and began struggling for his freedom. He immediately realized that he was caught in a tight web. He struggled harder and harder not realizing the danger he was in. Then, out of nowhere, a pea sized house spider 3 times smaller than he was sunk it's fangs into him multiple times releasing as much venom as possible. Several hours later Sphex's body hung lifeless in a tangled web suspended only centimeters above the ground. Days passed and eventually Sphex's remains vanished but his "Ghost" still haunts my flower pots to this day. Music written and performed by Will Babbington
