Destiny 2 Hotswaps! The Keybinding (CVARS) method!

This video shows you how to set up your keybindings to do easy hotswaps. It's honestly twice as long as it needs to be, but I ramble. Sorry. Also, no idea what was going with the crop in my screen recorder. Just take my word that move and next weapon were set to J. Basic steps: 1. Set Key Binding storage to Computer in your Destiny 2 in-game settings. 2. Close Destiny. 3. Navigate to your Destiny 2 cvars.xml file. Found mine in C:\User\(Username)\AppData/Roaming/Bungie/DestinyPC/prefs 4.Right click on cvars.xml to bring up a menu and choose Open With. Select Notepad if available, otherwise "Choose another app" and find notepad in there. 5. Set the secondary input for hold sprint, move forward, and either switch weapon or next weapons to the same value. (I use 'J'). Switch weapon if you only want to hotswap between Kinetic and Energy. (i.e.Double Slugs+Anarchy) Next weapon if you want to swap through all 3 Kinetic, Energy, and Heavy (i.e. Double Slug + Xeno) 6. SAVE! (and close) 7. (And this is important) Right click on cvars.xml to bring up that menu. Select Properties and ensure "Read-Only" is CHECKED and hit Okay. 8. Relaunch Destiny 2 and get to hotswapping!
