Hack: Fat Moot /v/orld a /v/orld fangame Version: 1.03 Author: FatAnon Lenght: 26 exits Difficulty: Hard Download: https://catbox.moe/c/oufkqr What a way to start/end the year. I knew of this one since December 23 or 25 but didn't got around it since I was busy with my own stuff This hack is a weird one, it has Moot in a "New" form, a fat one, a form that will be used through all the game. Levels vary with difficult, you may get easy ones and then hard ones, I say the difficulty is on par with the one from /v/3, I didn't felt a curve that starts eas and then goes hard, for instance, last world has one level that took me next to nothing to complete, but prior levels took me a lot of time. Music is also varied along with backgrounds. I probably won't have a critique for every level as this dumb box only allows 5000 characters and I need some for the timestamps. But for most of the hack the levels are hard, and you know what comes with that? losing lives, and those are more of an annoyance since it wastes time seeing the game over screen every time, and that doesn't even removes the checkpoint, so what is the point of having it? the same applies to the /v/ Coins, I could of collected them all, but once you get a game over they are gone again, so I just ignored these for almost all the game, if theyy don't save, they are useless so I just, won't. I was also kinda annoyed at levels because I felt like I was spending a lot of time in them, some of these were fun, and I liked some levels as well, to name a few, the rails one which is supposedly nerfed here, the canvas curse level despite me never have played that one Kirby game, the unspecified factory, the shy subcoon castle, the no flight filter, and the two palaces. Some levels were annoying but If I had a major issue with, it would be the "Final Boss", you can damage it all you want, it won't matter in the end, because it's also a survival autoscroller, and the projectiles are unpredictable, so it felt like luck wheter or not progress was made, here is where the lives are an annoyance at a great scale, they don't remove the midpoint, but I have to endure the cutscene anyway. But other than that the hack was challenging. Conclusion: This is a weird inspired hack, I must say, the moot sprite looks good, but it's still weird in some way, and with this, it is like, the 6th inspired /v/ hack. And I'll give it a 7/10, mostly because again, I was kinda annoyed at some levels and some decisions made. Chapters: 00:00 Title Screen 00:27 Welcome! 00:47 Yoshi's...
