We stayed in Grahamstown over New Year 97/98. Our hosts, Ian and Pepe Morton of St Andrew's College looked after us well, and Pepe gave us a tour of the town, which is captured here. I had met Pepe previously through Target Shooting. Pepe is internationally renowned, and she has been a judge at the highest level, including the Commonwealth Games in the UK in 2002 and the Olympic Games in London in 2012. I am sorry I didn't know this, or I would have tried to meet up. This holiday video uses VHS Recordings, 35mm Print film, and Transparencies. I, Alastair, took my mother, Mary, on a tour of Southern Africa a few months after she was diagnosed with a terminal illness. It was to be, and it turned out to be, the holiday of a lifetime. Now, some 27 years later, I realised three things. 1. Other family members might want to see this. 2. My memory is fading, and I need something to help me remember this great time. 3. People in general might want to see what South Africa, Lesotho and Swaziland looked like back in the 90's
