Perfect CAMPERVAN Bike Rack | Ski Rack & Cargo Box | ONE rack, MANY uses!

A universal CAMPERVAN bike rack. We want to use ONE rack for both biking and skiing, summer use and winter use. So, we adapted our existing bike rack to become a ski and cargo box for our winter adventures. We bought our Atera Strada DL3 (+1) bike rack 5 years ago. (See our seperate review). It is a fantastic rack that allows it be loaded whilst sliding backwards to enable full access to the tailgate. After well over 30,000miles with this rack, we have fitted a removable frame which allows us to carry our skis and a cargo box. Of course, it can come in very useful for lots of adventures as well as providing more storage. In this video you can see how we did it. And then, how we use it on two different trips to the mountains. We are Jordan, Jo, Holly, Izzy and Poppy, the calicamperfamily. Our current van is a 2022 Ford Nugget Plus. It is a 5 seater and sleeps all 5 of us too. We are British and live and work permanently in Northern Italy alongside Lago Maggiore.
