League of Legends - Guardian of the Sands Skarner (Cinderhulk, Aftershock)

Going into this game, my team needed a tank, and I wanted reliable CC should the Master Yi get snowballing. This meant either Nautilus or Skarner, but only one of them can really clear the jungle these days. The main advantage we have going into this game is that the enemy is completely lacking a tank. This means Quinn's all-in or the Xerath poke is much more effective than normal. Additionally, should the Yi try to rush them, I am able to grab him and we can turn our attention to him. The enemy team wants to draw this game out so Yi, GP, and Veigar can all come online. With Quinn and MF, we want to wrap this up before it gets to this point. However, due to them lacking a tank, we also have a poke possibility that can win us the game. Between Blinding Assault, Double Up, and all of Xerath's stuff, we can poke them down, I can rush in and grab one, and the team fight is won. The main thing to keep in mind is that the enemy has a stronger split push, which means we don't want to do that as we'd probably lose a race. The difficulty in this one is two fold as I have to worry about Veigar's cage and the Fiddle fear, both of which make it had to grab someone. That is why Flash is a necessity here, and I may have been better off not getting a Righteous Glory at all since running at them wasn't quite going to work. Overall, I am definitely glad I didn't bring Udyr to this one as it would have been more difficult. And on a final note, I open my boxes finally in this video without too much to really show for it. The highlight was a specific champion shard, which I needed for mastery. Sadly, I didn't get a shard for one specific character who you'll be seeing tomorrow...
