How the Club's Apache Labs ANAN 8000 Remote Station Works

A technical presentation by Ian Procyk, VE7HHS covering the design and operation of the club's remote HF station at "operating position 4". The station, comprised of an Apache Labs ANAN 8000DLE was built to be operated by multiple people at the same time, both on site and or remote. The presentation outlines the signal flow of audio audio coming into the station from a variety of sources such as the traditional telephone network, VOIP conference bridges, Zoom / Webex video calls and of course local microphones at the station. For those who participate in the BC Public Service Net ( BCPSN ) on Wednesday's, this is the same system that Roly, VA7RA accesses remotely from aboard his boat. Recorded on October 26 2023.
