Colorado Native Plant Garden - July Update, what’s flowering, what’s struggling

I installed this Colorado Native plant garden in April / May. The plants have been putting down roots, growing and flowering. I wanted to share an update and tour of the garden. I find it helpful to see what plants look like, as they get established. Maybe it will help you plan your own sustainable, low water, native plant garden. I’m in the Colorado Front Range at 5300’ (for reference) Native Plants evolved with the local soil and weather conditions and so can deal with environmental extremes. This video was taken just a few days after a major hail storm! These plants also attract and provide food and homes for local insects and pollinators. And did I mention they use less water?
