Sunrise crawling through an empty motel Last night's glitter on my boots, can't tell Radio humming with a faraway tune Highways and heartbreaks gone too soon Lonely on the border of the wild unknown Counting every heartbeat till I'm not alone High noon shadows, boots on fire Lost on the dancefloor, tangled in wire Whiskey dreams, red dust in my eyes Running from the ghosts in these neon skies Hey now, spin it round Hey now, feel the sound Leather on my laces, dirt on my tongue Moonshine heartbeat, nowhere to run Eyes locked in secrets through cigarette haze Footsteps behind me in the mid-July blaze The world feels colder when the lights go low Grit between my teeth but I can't say no High noon shadows, boots on fire Lost on the dancefloor, tangled in wire Whiskey dreams, red dust in my eyes Running from the ghosts in these neon skies Hey now, spin it round Hey now, feel the sound Spurs in the silence, breathing in slow Mirrors reflecting what I don't want to show Night paints my worries in silver-blue strains Trading old stories for new kinds of pain High noon shadows, boots on fire Lost on the dancefloor, tangled in wire Whiskey dreams, red dust in my eyes Running from the ghosts in these neon skies Hey now, spin it round Hey now, feel the sound Hey now, don't look down Hey now, we're spellbound ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kessler Syndrome is a theoretical scenario, proposed by NASA scientist Donald Kessler in 1978, where the density of objects in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) becomes so high that a single collision causes a cascade of further collisions. This chain reaction generates exponential amounts of space debris, creating a self-perpetuating, unstoppable cloud that could make space activities, satellite operations, and, in extreme cases, space exploration impossible for generations.
