Meet Lindsay Goffredo Hughes, DO, Coordinated Health Primary Care Physician

Lindsay Goffredo Hughes, DO is a primary care physician with Coordinated Health. Dr. Goffredo Hughes considers herself a family practice physician and chose her specialty because of the importance she places on her own family. “My family is the center of my life and the reason that I work so hard," she says. "I treat everyone who walks through my door like they are family. They are important; they are the center of someone’s life. I make every medical decision as though I was making it for my mother, husband or child. I care about my patients and their lives and love to welcome them to my ‘family’ practice." Dr. Goffredo Hughes grew up in Roseto, an enclave of Bangor, and is fluent in Spanish. The Goffredos are fourth generation Roseto and Slate Belt residents, born and bred. Her hometown is named for the village of Roseto Valfortore in Italy where her family hails from. Dr. Goffredo Hughes is oldest of five siblings and married with three children. She has a very maternal and family-style approach to care. “Because I grew up in the Slate Belt and because my family, the Goffredos, is well-known, I know everyone and treat them like family. Many times I’ve seen three generations of one family, the grandparents, parents and children.
