Todays video is a difficult watch, so prepare yourself... We begin the day by packing up and leaving our gorgeous wild camp at Dukan Lake, then ride 75km South-West to the city of Sulaymaniyah. We are here to visit Amna Suraka, also known as the Red Jail Museum. This compound was once used as a place to imprison and torture the Kurdish people, but is now a museum which tells the harrowing stories of Saddam Hussein, the Anfal Campaign, and the atrocities committed against the Kurdish people. Of course there is much more information to these stories, from both sides (Kurds and Iraqis), but this is simply a video about what we learned in the museum. Please subscribe to join the adventure!
