I grew 10 seeds 5 months ago and now I get 9 seedlings. Though they were planted at the same time and from the same parents, the growth is different. Normally 2-4 years. Amaryllis only blooms when the bulb grows to a mature size. In zones 9-11 where winter is mild and short, Amaryllis almost grows all year round without dormancy.
