If you know your dog ate something you have a head start don’t waste it…if your dog is lethargic you must act fast… keep dog hydrated with food water/pedi purée with as much possible… remember a bad case of stomach blockage will cause vomiting no matter what so keeping dog hydrated is key… sometimes when they throw up I will quickly give them more with syringe.. this is not always just once in a while to combat fluids being loss. This process is different for every situation so paying close attention to what you dog is doing is key. If you’ve been giving the dog a lot of fluid and he vomits discontinue for a bit … if you haven’t been giving dog much fluids but it’s throwing up a lot then give syringe or two. Remember each dog will be different so reading your dog is key. If done properly you will save your dog without a question of a doubt.
