Forgotten World Adventures Rail Cart Ride

In this video we ride along an old railway line that use to operate a few years ago but due to weather and landslides the Stratford line on New Zealand's North Island was abandoned and is now operated as Tourist attraction not for trains but little old golf carts that came all the way from Texas USA were modified to run on the old line. This video covers most of the whole journey from Stratford up in the Hill's to Taumarunui just near where the mainline between Auckland and Wellington once connected. This also shows almost every stop including: Tangarakau for Morning Tea, Tokirima for Lunch, Matiere for Afternoon Tea, A few short stops at smaller locations to learn history and even stopping inside as few tunnels including the longest tunnel (1.5km's long) on line just near Matiere.
