I believe the air date of this show was 4/30/1989. This was the second match from the final regular ladder series from the 1988 - 1989 season of Candlepin Stars & Strikes, featuring red hot Peter Flynn taking on one of the all time greats, Paul Berger. This was actually the debut match of Paul Berger on Stars & Strikes, but we all know how well he made his presence known in the following years to come on the show. When it came to his first match on WNDS though, this telecast was an absolute STRIKE FEST, and featured very, VERY high scores that resulted in records being set on this show as well! I honestly can't believe I had never seen or heard of this particular airing until viewing it for the first time earlier before I uploaded it on here.
