With over two decades of experience, Xavier has played a key role in shaping Hassell’s approach to complex and future-facing projects. His work spans space architecture (including collaborations with NASA and ESA), large-scale community projects, and experimental construction in extreme environments. As a former Director of Smartgeometry and educator at Syracuse University, Ghent University, and The Bartlett, he has also helped cultivate one of the most influential computational design networks in the world.
