He was from New Orleans and worked as a musician, composer, arranger and bandleader. This one was published by W.C. Polla in Chicago in 1905. This is a reproduction of the original score with several corrections: -In the introduction at measure 5 restored the missing RH treble clef and changed the first two bass octaves from C and C natural to E and E natural (to match the developing chromatic pattern). -In the Trio corrected the first volta to include two measures (57 & 58) instead of one. -Added a natural to the RH G at measure 73. -At measure 75 added a natural to both Gs.
