In the kitchen of my extended family's house. This replaced the 3D Aero-Master ceiling fan that had a dying capacitor. Originally proposed getting the capacitor changed but decided to get a KDK for the airflow and durability. Definitely puts out a ton of air. Unfortunately left my anemometer in Hong Kong, so couldn't do a vane anemometer airflow test. Also, I could only really do the video late at night when less people would come into the kitchen, so sorry about the less-than-ideal lighting situation lol. And yes, I did auto enhance it Also sorry about the abrupt transitions, I didn't use iMovie for this vid as I discovered it seems to degrade the FPS, so from now on I only use it when necessary KDK of Panasonic Corporation (formerly Matsushita Seiko) Industrial/commercial duty (?)* ceiling fan Model M56XG 5-speed "condenser-controlled" capacitor-based wall regulator 56"/140cm in diameter 3 metal blades Dark chocolate brown finish Specs from manual (230V-60Hz) Air velocity: 170 m/min (557.7 ft/min) 81 rated Watts (high) 280 rated RPM (high) Rated airflow (high) CMM CMH CFM 225.0 13,500.0 7,945.8 *I've seen conflicting info on whether this is "officially" rated as an industrial ceiling fan. Manual says "in-house use only" which may be poorly written English for either household use only or may simply refer to not using the fan in exposed outdoor locations. However, it seems to be translated to "domestic use only" in, e.g., Spanish. Which is ironic given these are ubiquitous in commercial applications in places like the Dominican Republic, and it seems to be on par with a lot of true industrials airflow and quality wise. Conversely, I've seen official literature advertising KDKs as "powerful industrial" ceiling fans and seen official distributors like AVESCO in the Philippines market these as industrial. Singer, who also distributes these in Sri Lanka, describes these as for "Office/Home/Shops Etc." My guess is that while these may be de-facto industrial grade, but they haven't obtained an industrial grade rating from relevant regulatory bodies https://www.manualslib.com/manual/109... https://www.kipcol.ph/product-page/a4...
